The University of Manchester’s Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences has again asked us to project manage the production of its alumni magazine Your Manchester. It is jam packed with news and features from around the campus, focussing on its groundbreaking research and also the people behind the research.
We began writing this publication in 2011, and have interviewed countless academics, alumni and students to find their stories. We’ve filled hundreds of pages with content, and have designed all of the publications, as well as the Faculty’s EPS News magazine.
After meeting with University staff, we are once again on the case of organising interviews, transcribing notes and looking for new ways to present the stories from around the campus.
The magazine is sent to more than 80,000 of the Faculty’s alumni, and so far it has been very well received, with feedback such as “I would like to pass on my thanks for creating such a fantastic alumni magazine. We’ve had brilliant feedback on it, both internally and externally, and from alumni who have said it is the best publication they have ever received from the University”.
